Anna Hopfensberger, originally from Munich, Germany, worked as an engineer for BMW GROUP before switching career paths to pursue her MFA in in New York, USA. With a background in freelance art and formal training at the Art Academy in Kolbermoor, Bavaria, she exhibited globally, including at venus like MIIT Museum in Turin and Frauenmuseum in Bonn. Featured in publications like British Vogue and Tatler Magazine, Anna also showcased her work at the Kristall Huette Skie Resort in the Austrian Alps. Anna Hopfensberger is currently based in New York and works on a narrative figuration style that represents everyday human behavior and society, as well as its questioning. She has developed a method of image compositions that allows her to tell an expository story through a colorful palette and the recurring presence of female figures in different spaces.
